What is Supervised Visitation?
SV is the provision of a safe, comfortable, non-threatening and conflict-free environment in which a child(ren) can spend time with their non-custodial parent while a visitation monitor is present to ensure the visit is safe and to assist in making the visit more enjoyable.

What are Supervised Exchanges?
SE is for parents who are not required to have supervision while visiting their children but need to be able to meke the exchange without interacting with the other parent.  The child is escorted from one parent to the other by a visitation monitor without the parents seeing one another.

Where are the Visitation Centers?
The visitation centers are located in several different churches. Each of the visitation centers serves a different population. One is better suited to pre-schoolers whil another is more comfortable for older children.  CAFA will match your child to the most appropriate center.

How do I obtain these services?
Before supervised visitation or exchanges with your family begins, CAFA will schedule an initial intake meeting with both parents SEPARATELY. Each parent must call CAFA and schedule their own appointment. Four (free) parenting classes are required before the visiting parent may schedule a visit.

What is the cost?
The cost for the visiting parent's intake is $50.  There is no cost for the custodial parent's intake.  The cost of each supervised visit is $40.  For exchanges each parent will pay $5 for a total of $10.  The visiting parent must make a deposit in the amount of the cost of one visit.  Thereafter, payment is due before check-in for the visit.
